On any Turf field  the following rules apply:

No Seeds or gum

No Metal Cleats

No sunflower seeds

Failure to observe the above can result in a forfeit or ejection from the league.

Hot Stove has an iphone app tro enter score and follow schedule.Search fro HOTSTOVE in the app store.

If cancelling less than 24 hours before game time or any game day umpire issues please call the umpire assigned to your game. It is listed to the right of your game info on website. Do not text that number as it is a landline.   You must cancel two hours before game time to avoid a travel fee.

If you are cancelling a game due to weather or to change a game email: schedules@lihotstovebaseball.com. Please include your division, team name, opponent. 

Please email any requested changes to schedules@lihotstovebaseball.com. We made every effort to accommodate blackout dates. If you need to change a game contact your opponent. Your opponent’s contact info is located under opposing teams on your team page.

Playoffs are on 8/5-10.

If you have general questions email info@lihotstovebaseball.com.  To determine if a field we assigned is open or closed call our fields hotline 516 502 7705 which is listed on our main page. This number is updated at 4pm on inclement weather days (7am on weekends). If the field is your opponents you will have to contact your opponent.

Home teams who supply a field are responsible to make sure their field is ready to play.  If there is an issue with a field the league needs to be notified immediately.

Rule: If a parent gets ejected from a game, the parent and the player associated with that parent will be suspended for the next game. Parents are not allowed in the dugout and are not allowed to interact with opposing coaches or umpires.

Your parents must create a user id at our website using the email address that listed on the roster. They will be able to see the team schedule after they create their id. We strongly recommend that you do not print out schedules as fields may change. Have your teams follow the website.

You can view the rosters from other teams in your division by clicking on the view rosters link.

You can also communicate with your opposing coaches using the send message link. The coaches phone numbers are listed as well.

You can email a scanned copy, upload the copy on the feels tab on your dashboard or mail a copy in. This must be done prior to your first game.

 

 For the upcoming 2023 season, all participants in LI Hot Stove Baseball events must have a Validage Sports ID card to be eligible to play.  Cards are valid for the full year and if you purchased one in 2022, you must upload a recent photo and purchase your 2023 card.

•             When registering by June 20, 2023, use promotion code ‘stove23’ to receive a subsidized price your Validage ID card.

o             All Hot Stove players must register for a virtual card at the subsidized price of $6.00.

o             Players can also request a physical card at a subsidized price of $15.  (Note when purchasing a physical card, you will also receive a virtual card at no additional cost.)

               Note: Validage offers an opt out option that will not save the player's info online and only produce a physical card.

•             Coaches have the option of registering their full teams under a single account.  Coaches must have copies of birth certificates and photos to enable.

•             Validage Sports ID cards can be used as a form of identification at all sporting venues which current accept and are not exclusive to LI Hot Stove events.

 

After each of your games you as Manager are responsible to leave a clean dugout.

Terms and Conditions

WAIVER OF LIABILITY, RELEASE (REGISTRATION CONTINUED BELOW) For and in consideration of the undersigned participant's registration with Long Island Hot Stove Baseball ("Organization") and being allowed to participate in events and member activities, participant and the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of participant waive, release and relinquish any and all claims for liability and cause(s) of action, including for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death occurring to participant or participant’s parent(s) or legal guardian(s) arising out of participation in events, or sports, and/or activities incidental thereto, whenever or however they occur and for such period said activities may continue, and by this agreement any such claims, rights, and causes of action that participant and/or participant's parent(s) or legal guardian(s) may have are hereby waived, released and relinquished, and participant and participant’s parent(s)/guardian(s) do so on behalf of their heirs, executors, administrators and assigns. Participant and participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) acknowledge, understand and assume all risks relating to events or sports participation and activities incidental thereto, and understand that activities incidental thereto involve risks to participant's and participant's parent('s)/guardian('s) person including bodily injury, partial or total disability, paralysis and death, and damages which may arise there from and that we have full knowledge of said risks. These risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of the participant, participant's parent(s)/guardian(s)or the negligence of others, including the organization, its affiliates, members, event hosts, other participants, other parents and legal guardians, coaches, officials, sponsors, advertisers, owners and operators of the premises used to conduct any event and each of them, their officers, directors, agents and employees (collectively, "releasees"), and include risks arising from the conditions and use of facilities and related premises. I/We further acknowledge that there may be risks and dangers not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time. Participant and participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) acknowledge, understand and assume the risks, if any, arising from the conditions and use of facilities and related premises, whether as a participant or a spectator, including without limitation, the risks involved with participating in the Organization’s activies. Participant and participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) further acknowledge and understand that included within the scope of this waiver and release is any cause of action (including any cause of action based on negligence) arising from the performance, or failure to perform, maintenance, inspection, supervision or control of said areas and for the failure to warn of dangerous conditions existing at said facilities, for negligent selection of certain releasees, or negligent supervision or instruction by releasees. Participant and participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) acknowledge, understand The Organization reserves the right to photograph facilities, activities and program participants for potential future use. All photos remain the property of the Organization and may be used for publicity and promotional services. Consent to Medical Treatment of Minor: I hereby give my consent to have the above applicant treated by a physician or surgeon in case of sudden illness or injury while participating in the above event. It is understood that the Organization provides no medical insurance for such treatment under its liability insurance coverage. Medical benefits for such treatments/injuries may be provided with proof of medical coverage purchased through the Organization. The location of the activity or the nature of the illness or injury may require the use of emergency medical personnel. Participant and participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) agree if any claim for personal injury or wrongful death is commenced against releasees, he/she shall defend, indemnify and save harmless from any and all claims or causes of action by whomever or wherever made or presented for his/her personal injuries, property damage or wrongful death. Participant and participant's parent(s)/guardian(s) acknowledge that they have been provided and have read the above paragraphs and have not relied upon any representations of releasees, that they are fully advised of the potential dangers and risks and understand these waivers and releases are necessary to allow the activities of the Organization to exist in its present form.
